AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am

Sean and I headed to Pebble Beach this weekend to go to the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. This weekend was fun for so many reasons!!! I just loved every second of our weekend away. Ariana went to Nana and Grandpa's for the weekend, which she absolutely loved every second of it! They were so nice to watch her on Valentine's Day plus they had my two niece's with them all weekend too! We are so lucky to have them!

First, we went to cheer on my college roommate's brother-in-law, John Mallinger, who is a PGA tour professional golfer. Second, most of my college roommates, who all have little kids of their own, were able to find sitters (mainly grandma and grandpa's) to watch them while we all meet at Pebble. AH.. it has been a while since most of us got together kidless and not pregnant. Well, all of us except for Celeste who is expecting her second, but still, it was a record so far for the least amount of preggers with us! Third, it was a much needed weekend away for my wonderful hubby and I. And the list could go on an on and on.... It was tough to stay quiet on the course with all of us girls but what a blast. I love that no matter how much time goes by we just pick up where we left off as if no time has passed since we all met in 1995. They are such wonderful girls! We were not allowed cameras on the course but I snuck a few with my camera phone!
18th hole on Pebble Beach- absolutley breathtaking
John Mallinger's last hole for the day on Saturday. We followed him the entire day!

We ended our night with dinner with The Mallinger clan at a wonderful Italian restaurant in Carmel where we got to do some star gazing as Kelly Slater, Michael Bolton, and Kenny G came into the same restaurant. The best part was the Matradee was serving our table and was right in the middle of taking our order when Bolton walked in. The Matradee completely stopped our order without a word and ran up to Bolton to seat him immediately. Bolton could care less as he was carrying on with some friends that he saw when he walked in. My husband thought that was completely inappropriate so he went to their table and interrupted the Matradee and told him he should return to our table and finish our order. I couldn't believe he did that, but that is husband, and he did come back and finish taking our order!
What a fun weekend, we already have it on our calendar for next year!

OK I think the new T-shirt printed should be: "CAL POLY GRANDPARENTS SURVIVED THE AT&T" We too think Pebble is THE most beautiful place in the world to play and watch golf. What a great new tradition! We used to take our girls there at least once a year while growing up.I am happy to hear you all found Pebble to be as inviting..Although I think the GRANDPARENTS ought to meet up one year for our special reunion (not having to build bed frames) and party too....Ariana and her cousins had a fun time here, since the weather was great on Saturday we played alot outside, they are adorable children.Love, Nana
